Trudy Rafelson
Artist
Trudy Rafelson’s lifelong passion for archaeology shapes her art, which celebrates the cultural diversity expressed through the human figure, masks, and jewelry. A sculptor for 20 years, she transitioned to welding and metalsmithing five years ago to expand her exploration of texture, color, and movement. Trudy now creates jewelry and ethnic masks that honor ceremonial and ritual traditions. Her work preserves disappearing cultural expressions, keeping the creative spirit of ancient artisans alive for future generations.
