Dexter Brown, born in Bessemer, Alabama, in 1952, holds a B.A. from Indiana University, an M.R. from Wayland University, and an M.Div. from Logsdon Theological Seminary. Married with two sons, Dexter served as a hospice chaplain for 20 years. A dedicated photographer since 1955, he photographs, develops, and prints images that capture inspiring landscapes and micro images, aiming to evoke emotion and new perspectives. He also designed custom millinery, creating elegant hand-sewn hats.
