DeAnna Brown is a multi-disciplinary artist, ordained minister, and Founder of Forward Progress Arts & Entertainment Center, Inc. A 2021 Luminaria Artist Grantee, she is best known for her award-winning performance in the short film "Breaking Brokenness", earning 3 Best Actress honors. DeAnna is a visual artist and has written, produced, and directed numerous creative works, including stage plays, short films, and television. She co-founded the San Antonio Black International Film Festival and mentors artists through community-based programs and media platforms.
