Artist

Don Stewart, born in Mansfield, Ohio, was influenced by comic illustrations. He received a scholarship to a local art center at age 12. He earned a BFA from Ohio State University and worked as an art instructor, musician, and licensed chemical dependency counselor. Stewart’s acrylic, mixed-media works, and paintings have been displayed in various venues, including the City of San Antonio’s Culture Commons Gallery, Carver Community Cultural Center, San Antonio International Airport, and San Antonio Culture Commons Gallery at Plaza de Armas.
