Ronney Stevens discovered his passion for portraiture while attending Otis Art Institute and the American Animation Institute in Los Angeles. Although he studied oil painting at the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, he considers himself largely self-taught through hands-on experience. Ronney is exhibiting at the Texas State Capitol and has shown his artwork at the Pan African Film Festival and Prairie View A&M University. He is a San Antonio, Texas, resident and a youth volunteer at a local community center. He served as SAEAS President from 2019-2023 and as an instructor for the SAEAS Youth Scholarship Program.
