Artist

My art is a reflection of my life and is a visual record of my personal evolution. Each piece I create begins as something entirely different than what it becomes. Through my work, I aim to tell stories based on my life experiences, in the hopes of healing myself through creation, and to offer the possibility of healing and reflection to others.

Growing up in rural Maryland, where art education was largely underappreciated, the extent of my early art education consisted of nothing more than pencils and paper. As an artist now, my goal is to explore more materials, what they can do, and how they convey what it is I’d like to express to viewer. Ultimately, I want to grow and evolve through the work I create, and I hope it shapes me as deeply as I aspire to shape others.
