Claudette Hopkins

Claudette Hopkins, known as “CHOP,” is a Dallas-born artist and art educator who began her artistic journey at James Madison High School, graduating with honors in 1962. She studied Art Education under Dr. John Biggers at Texas Southern University. Claudette has designed sets and costumes for pageants and dance groups. Since her first public exhibit in 1992, she has held solo shows, participated in numerous group exhibitions, and taught art to children.
